r-bioc-gviz software package provides Plotting data and annotation information along genomic coordinates, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install r-bioc-gviz
r-bioc-gviz is installed in your system.
Make ensure the r-bioc-gviz package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep r-bioc-gviz *
You will get with r-bioc-gviz package name, version, architecture and description in a table
